REINAU® 1401 (Type N1)
REINAU® 1401 joint sealing compound Type N1 is a hot poured compound based on polymer-modified bitumen.
Mit REINAU® 1401 joint sealing compound Type N1 is used for sealing horizontal and slightly inclined joints in concrete and asphalt traffic areas with slow-moving or no traffic.
The compound is well suited for joints in bridge construction between the bridge cap and the road surface.
Meets the requirements of the new EN 14188-1
Also meets the requirements of US Federal Specification SS-S-1401 c as well as the Swiss quality standard SNV/ 671 625 a. Excellent elastic qualities make it particularly suitable for joints with no traffic load. Type N1 joint sealants can be used for changes to the joint width of up to 35 %.
