DEKOMAT® 11
DEKOMAT 11 is a new development in the DEKOMAT wrapping machine range.
DEKOMAT 11 was designed with flexible and fast application of BUTYLEN tape systems on welded joints and the wrapping of complete lengths of pipe in mind and is used especially in pipeline construction.
This new design allows the DEKOMAT 11 to remain on the pipe if it is moved from one point of use to the next. This means that the constant dismantling and reassembly, which has previously made the use of motor-driven equipment in post-factory coating almost impossible, is now unnecessary.
The DEKOMAT 11 can be quickly and easily moved along the pipe, even past pipe supports. A fast-opening closure allows the wrapping ring to be opened downwards if required.
Tape application is carried out with constant wrapping tension, guaranteeing an evenly maintained coating quality along with high application speed.
The frequency of changing the rolls of BUTYLEN tapes depends on the length of the roll, and varies according to tape thickness and pipe diameter.
