BUTYLEN-Tape AS40+

Asymmetrical 3-ply synthetic tape with a stabilized polyethylene carrier film, coated on both sides with a permanently plastic synthetic compound on a butyl rubber base.
The highly stable and supple carrier film ensures a high degree of resistance to mechanical damage. BUTYLEN-Tape AS 40 Plus will amalgamate in the overlap areas and between the individual layers of the wrapping.
The result is a sleeve-like, mechanically highly resistant and stable coating, practically impermeable to water vapor and oxygen. The thick gray butyl adhesive layer and the supple carrier film mean that the tape conforms particularly well to the structure of the underlying surface (e.g. weld beads and factory coating edges).

BUTYLEN-Tape AS 40 Plus coatings are compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy resin, PU and bitumen factory coatings.
