Application stages LIQUITOL® BLZ System
- Prepared surface
This high-performance anti-corrosion coating surface requires blast cleaning (Sa 2.05 according to ISO 8501-1 and a mean surface roughness of 40-100 µm). The surface must be free of dust and dry.
- LIQUITOL FK2-C, black
The temperature of the surface and the coating must be 3° above dew point.
LIQUITOL® FK2-C black is applied first
- LIQUITOL FK2-C, gray
Application of the second layer of the spreadable coating LIQUITOL® FK2-C in gray can be carried out after curing of the first layer. After this, the first layer will no longer shear. Depending on weather conditions, this can take 10-30 minutes.
Application of the 2nd layer must be carried out within at least 24 hours, otherwise the first layer must be roughened.
- LIQUITOL FK2-C, black
Finally, the third layer is applied, LIQUITOL® FK2-C black.
The same conditions apply as for the application of the second layer.
LIQUITOL® FK2-C black is distinguished by a higher resistance to UV.
