Plastic petrolatum tape for sealing and corrosion protection for above-ground application to metallic components, pipes and valves with permanent operating temperatures of -40 to +35°C.
Permanently plastic petrolatum tape on a polypropylene fleece material base. The fleece is impregnated and coated with a sealing and corrosion protection petrolatum compound. The petrolatum compound is stabilized by the addition of polymers, thus allowing operating temperatures between -40°C und +35°C for mechanically unstressed systems. The tape is moisture-impermeable and resistant to aqueous electrolyte solutions.
