DEKOTEC®-Rockshield DRM-PP 1000 Plus
The fleece material based on modified polypropylene has high mechanical and thermal resistance. Its good permeability for soil electrolytes ensures that cathodic corrosion protection will be unaffected.
DRM-PP 1000 Plus has been specially designed for additional mechanical protection of post-factory and factory coatings. DRM-PP 1000 Plus is in addition used for high thermal stress (> 50 °C).
Depending on soil conditions, DRM-PP 1000 Plus may allow for partial or complete dispensing with sand filling. If this is the case, material with a maximum particle size of 63 mm (coarse gravel, classification as per DIN 4022 or respectively DIN 18196) should be used instead of sand in the pipe embedding and filling. The regulations for embedding the pipe, filling the trench and sealing, in particular DIN 1610, DIN 18300 as well as the DVGW (Deutscher Verein des Gas-und Wasserfachs e.V. - German Association for the Gas and Water Industries) Worksheets G 462, G 463 and G472 must be complied with.
